Job Title: Broker Support Agent

Location: Cardiff (Hybrid)

Salary:  up to £26,500 plus company performance bonus

Role Overview:

As a Broker Support Agent, you will play a crucial role in promoting the company's proposition to the target market. Your responsibilities will include making regular contact with existing and potential broker customers, initiating conversations, building rapport, and maintaining relationships. This role involves a high volume of outbound calls to an established broker base, as well as offering support to brokers with inbound queries.

Key Duties:

Proactively manage a panel of brokers in collaboration with the Regional Sales Manager.

Support the growth of the broker panel by increasing activity within the region.

Conduct outbound priority calls, such as Masterclass prior/post calls, Network lists, and Pipeline calls.

Address commission or rewards queries and general queries related to how the company works with brokers and policyholders.

Prospect for new accounts within all regions.

Take responsibility for outbound campaign management.

Provide cover within the team as required.

Skills, Experience, Qualifications:

Excellent knowledge of the General Insurance (GI) market (not essential).

Proven experience in managing relationships with brokers (not essential)

Knowledge of Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) regulation, market trends, and mortgage distribution.

Skills as an influencer with negotiation skills.

Results-oriented mindset.

Planning and organisational skills.

Interpersonal and communication skills.

Ability to inspire trust, respect, and loyalty.

Motivated self-starter.

Ability to recognize and exploit commercial opportunities.
