Morgan McKinley is pleased to be supporting our national client based in Cwmbran. They are looking for an Assistant Finance Business Partner to join their team. This Assistant Finance Business Partner role is a chance to work for an incredibly exciting, successful, and resilient company.

Responsibilities of this position will include:

Proactively identify issues, corrective actions, risks, opportunities, and provide timely recommendations for actions.
To ensure month end timelines are adhered to and unresolved queries are kept to a minimum.
To partner with operational sites and other business areas to resolve queries, ensure KPIs are improved. For example, site trackers, creditor days, accounts onstop etc.
Build, maintain and continually improve a true customer focussed team and develop a proactive approach to matters.
To monitor supplier accounts to ensure they are reconciled regularly, and reconciling issues are raised and resolved with the supplier in a timely manner.
To build and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure the interactions are professional and constructive at all times.As the ideal candidate:

Qualified, part qualified or QBE
Solid accounting knowledge
Solid excel skills – v look ups and pivots
Strong interpersonal skills
Attention to detailThe package:

£35,000 to £40,000 per annum
This role does require 5 days in the office
