Having surpassed our sales targets in a record-breaking year and an ambitious growth plan in place, we are looking for a passionate B2B Marketing Manager [or B2B Marketing Campaigns Manager] to join our Marketing team working fully remotely on a fixed-term basis for 6 months to cover maternity leave, the role is to start in July 2024.

Reporting to the Head of Marketing B2B, you will be responsible for creating and developing school-focused lead generation campaigns and delivering innovative content that promotes brand awareness and establishes our position as thought leaders in online Education. In support of the sales team, you will develop and maintain integrated campaigns aligned to business goals and work toward meeting revenue targets. You will own the content of the Academy21 website and work to fully optimise the outward facing content ensuring that it is aligned to our personas and related customer journeys.  You will also manage the marketing activities associated with International B2B and UK B2B led by Head of Marketing B2B in collaboration with the Director of Marketing. You will be a confident marketer and copywriter with experience of a range of formats to meet a range of well-defined B2B audiences.  


Creation of integrated B2B campaigns for awareness, consideration, and conversion 

Ideation and development of content aligned to school / B2B personas  

Creation of lead nurturing content including emails, newsletters, case studies, blogs, campaigns and webinars   

Working with advertisers and publications to produce lead generating campaigns aligned to audience needs  

Working with Head of Marketing and Director as well as Inspired Communications/PR representatives to ensure key messages reach intended audiences and to react to news items 

Working collaboratively with the Brand and Social Media Specialist to create, share and re-purpose content suitable for our B2B audiences including user generated e.g., customer testimonials  

Being a centralised point of support for our Account Managers and Regional Client Administrators to support with Marketing activity.  

Being a centralised point of support for international B2B activities and planning 

Manage content for internal updates and all employee meetings in conjunction with Head of Marketing and Director 

Liaise and work with various stakeholders both internally and externally.  


Marketing Degree or Professional Qualification  

4+ year’s experience in marketing, digital marketing and/or campaign management  

Experience of B2B marketing or working within the education sector 

Confident copywriter, with experience and evidence of writing for different formats and needs  

Experience of content creation for campaigns, web and social media 

Knowledge of thought leadership activities and campaigns and how PR integrates into the marketing function 

Experience of working cross-functionally with designers, agencies or other creatives on the production of collateral and assets  

Commitment to results – focused on your targets and the ability to overcome any obstacles that may arise.  

Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills that showcase a dynamic and supportive stance to all stakeholders  

Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and customer relationship management (CRM) tools 

Flexible and adaptable – skilled at managing own workloads and working on your own initiative.  

Desirable experience / skills / qualifications  

Experience of B2B sales or customer service  

Experience using email automation software  

Graphic design skills and video editing skills 

Experience of webinar production or hosting  

Experience of International marketing  

Experience of student recruitment or admissions  

Communications/PR experience (agency or buy side)
