Role: HR Advisor

Salary: £35,000 per annum + benefits

Location: Hybrid working – Cardiff based office (with the expectation to travel to additional sites when required)

Full time, permanent

As a HR Advisor, you will work in partnership with a team of HR Advisors to supporting the day to day running of the HR function. You will be responsible for a wide range of HR generalist tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

· Advise line managers and department heads on HR policies and procedures.

· Manage recruitment processes, including drafting job descriptions, placing adverts, conducting interviews, and coordinating selection.

· Proactively manage HR inboxes.

· Conduct employee meetings for inductions, probationary reviews, flexible working requests, and family leave.

· Assist in organisation-wide absence management, including reporting and early-stage meetings.

· Welcome and onboard new recruits.

· Collate and report management information.

· Support senior HR team members in grievance or disciplinary procedures.

· Attend university career fairs

What you'll need:

· CIPD Level 5 qualification (or be working towards) or equivalent qualification

· Previous experience working within a HR Assistant/Administration/Advisor position

· Solid experience of managing the entire employee lifecycle including ER casework and end to end recruitment

· Understanding of GDPR and employment legislation, and how this translates into practice

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and effectively communicate across all levels of the business
