Job Title: Quantity Surveyor 

Location: Cross Hands, Carmarthenshire  

Job Type: Permanent basis 

Pay:  Up to £60K per year depending on experience 

Hours: Mon-Fri 8:30-4:30

Who Are They?

Our client are a construction company based in Crosshands, Carmarthenshire. They possess experienced and competent personnel to deliver high quality Civil Engineering & Groundworks projects.
 
The ideal candidate would be a qualified, professional Quantity Surveyor to estimate costs, material quantities and project timelines. A key part of the role will be to liaise with the team of existing staff who are themselves specialist in their areas.
 
Responsibilities: 

Prepare cost estimates and budgets for construction projects
Analyze and evaluate contractor bids and proposals
Monitor project costs and ensure adherence to budget
Review and negotiate change orders and variations
Conduct site visits to assess work progress and verify quantities Requirements: 

Need at least 3 years on site surveying experience.
A driving licence is an essential requirement of the role.
Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or related field Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry
Strong knowledge of cost control principles and techniques
Proficient in using quantity surveying software and tools
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Effective communication and negotiation skills
