We have a fantastic job opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor. This is a Hybrid role based out of Colwyn Bay.

You will be joining a renowned leader in M&E solutions in the UK. Established in 1924, the company boasts a rich heritage and an award-winning reputation for safely delivering high-quality products and services, consistently exceeding our esteemed clients' expectations nationwide.

They are looking to expand their commercial team due to growth within the business and need additional support.

Responsibilities:

Administer/monitor all commercial aspects of projects
Develop and maintain accurate cost reports/monitoring (CVR)
Identify areas of risk/scope and develop with the Project team
Manage and produce/take off bill of quantities (BOQ)
Produce control documents when projects are secured
Manage the payment cycle
Value contract variations and submit them to the client
Attend post-tender/pre-qual/handover meetings
Assist in the estimating process if required at the tender stage
Negotiate and place subcontractors for packages of work already identified or as these become known.
Ensure you get copies of any RFI's/TQs raised by the company or the client to check cost and programmer implications
Re-measure construction-issued drawings
Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience in a similar role
Familiarity with relevant software and tools for quantity surveying (e.g., CostX, Bluebeam, AutoCAD).
Strong analytical and numerical skills, with attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of construction contracts and regulations.
