Our client is seeking a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their team, responsible for maintaining safe, compliant, and effective engineering operations. In this role, you will contribute to the continual development of the site’s asset base by following a proactive engineering strategy and responding efficiently to breakdowns.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform planned and predictive maintenance on equipment and complete ad hoc repairs, prioritizing work in line with site needs to ensure efficient production.
* Assess and maintain critical spares and stock levels, ensuring the spares list is up to date.
* Escalate any issues promptly to the Engineering Manager.
* Ensure a safe working environment by conducting servicing and maintenance activities with minimal risk to employees, products, and equipment, while championing safety.
* Utilize root cause analysis on breakdowns to prevent re-occurrence, ensuring completion of corrective actions.
* Support energy reduction and sustainability efforts across the site by ensuring all actions are completed.
* Participate in daily and weekly review sessions to drive continuous improvement across the site.
Skills, Experience, and Qualifications:
* Qualified or time-served in both mechanical and electrical engineering disciplines.
* Experience in the use and operation of CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems).
* Expertise in Reliability Management techniques such as FMECA, RCM, Tribology, CBM, and TPM.
