Warehouse assistant Job Description

Main Duties:

To review files identified from a dedicated Trademark destruction list, maintaining the permanent preservation of forms TM3, TM16, TM25 and representations.
To destroy additional material such as evidence, invalidity files and opposition files that correspond to the ceased Trademark.
To review files identified from a dedicated Design destruction list, maintaining the permanent preservation of forms DF1A, DF12A & DF16A and representations.
To review Madrid files and complete destruction in line with the retention and disposal policy.
To review precedent files on a case-by-case basis, retaining legal decisions for permanent storage.
To review European Translations by utilising IPSUM software to confirm destruction dates.
ToreviewGBpatentfilesusingCOPs (or alternative software) to establish
retention periods and complete destruction of redundant files.
To relocate live cases for Trademarks and Designs into new runs to support future storage solutions. These cases have been identified with a supporting pre-printed list.
Files eligible for destruction are to be packed into "Shred it" bags and stored in the secure container located in the rear car park, trolleys and PPE will be provided. Full training will be provided.
Files requiring restorage are to be returned to the relevant store in numerical order, files that are currently boxed are to be removed from the box and stored loose on the racking, maximising space. Full training will be provided.
Forms requiring permanent preservation to be handed to TL for review and future storage.
To provide weekly figures (template will be provided).
This role will be warehouse based with limited desk bound activities and involves working at height by operating a WAVE machine, full training will be provided, this will incorporate periods of standing and repetitive lifting of small boxes and files.
As this role will be warehouse based, manual handling training will be provided to support day to day activities.
To wear dedicated PPE in line with our Health and Safety Policies.
To utilise walkie talkies when operating in the warehouse environment.
To ensure compliance to H&S requirements regarding evacuation, following of HIRA reports, reporting accidents and near misses.Other Info:

Tours can be provided on request or anyone wishing to view the facility.

Ideally have your own transportation as the bus routes are irregular/remote location.

Pay and Benefits:
£11.12 per hour.
34 days holiday (Incl Bank Holidays).
Free on site parking.

This role is subject to a Basic DBS.
