Warehouse Team Manager

£39,500 per annum


45 hours per week

Acorn by Synergie is working with a well known Wholesale Foods and Drinks company based in Chepstow who are looking for a Warehouse Team Manager to join their team. The successful candidate will report directly to the Head of Operations and will be responsible for the day-to-day operations and compliance of the department.

Qualifications & Requirements:

* Good level of verbal and written English and numeracy skills.

* Proficient in IT and ability to use Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook.

* Experience of a fast moving warehousing and distribution environment.

* Previous experience in similar roles is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

* Plan workload for themselves and others effectively.

* Motivate and manage a team of people in sometimes challenging circumstances.

* Identify and recommend improvements to the department manager.

* Ensure all daily/weekly/monthly KPI's are monitored and achieved/ exceeded through utilisation and interpretation of relevant data.

* Manage all resources including MHE, cages, pallets and shrink wrap.

* Manage and delivers briefings to the team to ensure they are aware of, and adhere to all Company messages, policies and procedures.

* Ensure stock is managed to reduce damage and ensure cost and customer availability KPI's are met.

* Accurately update relevant systems in a timely manner. This will include overtime management and accurate completion of payroll submissions and accident investigation documentation.
